This Genie Lift model will lift 181kg to a maximum of 3.06m with the forks turned around and 2.50m with the forks in their normal down position. The Genie GL-8 Straddle has the ability to widen the legs and pick up object up to 91cm wide.

- Choices of non marking rear wheels or pneumatic rear wheels for rough terrain and and outdoor use
- Optional rear foot brake
- Optional load platform which fits over forks to handle odd shaped items
- Optional boom attachment, turning the Genie Lift into a vertical crane or hoist
- Optional ladder fitted to the rear of the Genie Lift to assist lifting and installation tasks
- Four point casters an option with the rear casters having side brakes and 4 point rotational locks for consistent straight line maneuvering
